TINKER BELL 1/2 MARATHON

Today Dawn Dewhirst ran the 2013 Tinker Bell 1/2 Marathon for charity. The race is at Disneyland in California and the runners raced through the Disneyland Resort. Good job Dawn, we are proud of you!

NEW FOOTSTOOL FOR MY ROOM!

Needed a place to put my footsies when using my reading chair. Could not find a footstool that I liked so I re-purposed the one from our bedroom that we were not using. Painted it black and covered it with some linen fabric that I bought in Rouen, France thinking I would find a footstool that I liked. Turns out the fabric is not French at all but a nice English linen but I think it will be perfect for the job.

I call the view out my window my Beatrix Potter view as depending on the time of year I can see all manner of wildlife out the window from deer to my pal Rocky the squirrel and lots of birds, etc. This morning I looked out and the momma rabbit who lives next door was taking in some sun.
