ORANGE SHERBET PRETZELS

 

 

Made a snack for Heath and the twins.  Everyone but Mitchie (thumbs down) loved them.  Had to tell their Poppa to "keep out" for the kiddos.  Easy peasy - used Snyders little pretzels and Wilton Orange Crème Candy Melts - the melts are limited edition and not available in stores (order from Wilton) - heat the melts per instructions and dip the pretzels and let them cool on wax paper.  Think next time I will do strawberry  Crème.

ROCK PORT DEWHIRST'S HAVING A GRAND TIME AT WDW!

Rich, Lindy, Ryan & Alex are having a grand time at Walt Disney World.  Getting out of school early in the midwest definately has it's benefits.

 

 

 

 

 

 

GARDEN FOR SUMMER 2013

The front yeard upgrade is complete and already looks much better.  We then focused efforts to the patio area and for the first time in years (because of climate) are able to have a small veggie/herb garden.

DIRK AT WORK, YARD REVAMP GOING ON AT 4902 W ROSSLARE!

 

 

 

Dirk hard at work taking out the old rock, making way for new plants and checking the soaker emitters and then he is going to put in the new plants and put everything back together again.  Hoping the upgrade of the "contractor yard" will enhance the look of the front of the house.  The plan is to do the front and side this year and the back next year.  Thank you for saving our backs Dirk!

RYAN SCOTT'S LAST TRACK MEET OF THIS SEASON

 

Ryan had his last track meet of the season yesterday afternoon and received medals in three categories.  Pretty darn good for his first year and competing against boys older than him.  Great job Ryan, we are proud of you! Now he can focus on soccer and baseball - busy boy.
