FALL IS IN THE AIR

Fall is in the air, the leaves are starting to turn (boo-hoo) and I am thinking of Halloween projects.  Thought these paper covered Tootsie Pops might be just the thing to do and would keep me from eating all that left over chocolate!

STEEL MAGNOLIAS TONIGHT - BROOKIES & FRENCH VANILLA ICE CREAM

Steel Mags meeting a week early this month.  Tonight's fare is a Brookie (recipe from "Baked" bakery in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn) a combination of a brownie and a chocolate chip cookie to be topped off with a scoop of homemade French Vanilla ice cream.  Hope the girls enjoy. ME AND MY BRO AT ST. JOE'S

 

Heath & Mitchie, just me and my bro hanging out on the playground at St. Joe's in Boise, ID.  We may be in different grades but we get to hook up at recess.

ROCK PORT BEATS THE TAR OUT OF MOUND CITY! DEWHIRST SCORES 2 TD'S

 

 

 

#1 Grandson, Ryan Scott Dewhirst, an 8th grader at Rock Port Jr. High had a great game yesterday when the Blue Jay's played the Mound City, MO Panthers. Final score Blue Jay's 46 Panthers 0.  Must have been a tough watch for those Panther parents.  Ryan had 2 touchdowns, caused one fumble, recovered another and otherwise had a great game.  Great job Ryan we are proud of you.  You come from a long line of football players, keep up the good work!

SCOUTING IN BOISE, IDAHO!

 

 

Today is Heath's first Cub Scout meeting.  He was so excited and his Grammie thinks he looks pretty handsome in his uniform.  Proud of you Heath.

HEATH WILL BE 8 ON OCTOBER 8! HOW CAN THAT BE?

 

Invitatation to be delivered to Heath about the first of October.  We get to "kidnap" him for a day to celebrate his birthday just the three of us!  Look forward to having a fun time.

POPPA'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!

 

We had a lovely dinner last night with wonderful smoked meats that Drew & Dawn had leftover from the 10th Anniversary party on Friday night ofDrew, Pat & Dawn's company: www.powderriverdev.com.
