I was up bright and early this morning to wish Belle, Mitch and Heath a good day on their first day of the new school year.

Ich war hell und früh am Morgen, um Belle, Mitch und Heath am ersten Tag des neuen Schuljahres wünsche einen guten Tag.

The twins ready to go to third grade and Heath eager (not) for fourth grade. Where does the time go? Just seems like yesterday we were taking photos for kindergarten and first grade.

Die Zwillinge bereit, auf der dritten Klasse und Heath eifrig (nicht) für die vierte Klasse gehen. Woher kommt die Zeit geblieben? Nur scheint wie gestern waren wir die Fotos für den Kindergarten und die erste Klasse.

Our oldest grandson, Ryan Scott Dewhirst is driving! He received a very early birthday gift this weekend - his own truck!

The smile on his face says it all - happy and lucky boy.  He will start his sophomore year soon - good luck Ry, drive safe and "Go Jays."

BAKING CRAB COOKIES WITH MITCHELL! BACKEN CRAB PLÄTZCHEN MIT MITCHELL!

Mitchell Scott asked his Grammie about three years ago to find him a crab cookie cutter - I did and ever since crab cookies are what Mitch wants to bake - even for Christmas so we call them at Christmas "the ever popular Christmas crab cookie."

Yesterday was his day to bake.  I must say he is cooperative and helpful in the kitchen - having said that I must admit that he seems to be really more interested in the end product than the process.  His twin sister Belle baked with Grammie this week and she is as interested in the process as she is the end result.

Gestern war seiner Zeit zu backen. Ich muss sagen, er kooperativ und hilfsbereit in der Küche ist - gesagt haben, dass ich zugeben muss, dass er zu sein scheint wirklich mehr daran interessiert, in das Endprodukt als das Verfahren. Seine Zwillingsschwester Belle gebacken mit Grammie in dieser Woche, und sie als sich für das Verfahren ist, wie sie ist das Endergebnis.

These are big cookies so the yield is not huge but I think he was happy to take home this tray of cookies. Thanks for baking Mitch!

Today is this sweet girl's birthday - Happy Birthday Shiloh.  Sadly her birthday buddy, my sister, Sharon will not be with her this year.  This is our first of many firsts without her and she will be missed today and always. MISS MERIDIAN/MISS IDAHO JR. PROGRAM - MISS MERIDIAN / MISS IDAHO JR. PROGRAMM

Our 8 year old Belle was asked to participate in last months Miss Idaho program (part of the Miss America program).  She was paired with Miss Meridian, Kylee Solberg.

Unser 8-jähriger Belle wurde gebeten, in letzte Monate Fräulein Idaho Programm (Teil der Miss America-Programm) teilnehmen. Sie war mit Fräulein Meridian, Kylee Solberg gepaart.
 

 The young girls participate with the older girls to learn poise, and the ability to perform before a crowd and one lucky girl is eligible to win a scholarship (a bond) to be used later for college.

Die jungen Mädchen mit den älteren Mädchen teilnehmen, um Haltung zu lernen, und die Möglichkeit, vor einer Menschenmenge und ein glücklicher Mädchen durchzuführen ist berechtigt, ein Stipendium (a-Bindung) zu gewinnen, die später für die Hochschule verwendet werden.

 These photos were taken on the final night of the competition.  The little sisters (each contestant is paired with a girl) did a wonderful choreographed dance. The scholarship was awarded and ......... it went to our Belle - congrats Missy you have a start toward college that you earned all by yourself with your essay, deportment and behavior.  We are all very proud of you. 

Diese Fotos wurden auf der letzten Nacht des Wettbewerbs übernommen. Die kleinen Schwestern (jeder Teilnehmer mit einem Mädchen gepaart) hat eine wunderbare choreographierten Tanz. Das Stipendium wurde vergeben und ......... es ging um unsere Belle - Gratulation Missy Sie einen Start in Richtung College, das Sie ganz alleine mit Ihrem Essay, Haltung und Verhalten verdient haben. Wir sind alle sehr stolz auf dich.

 

 

 

MESSAGES FOR HEAVEN - Meldungen für HEAVEN

My blog has been kind of quiet the past couple of months and that is because my dear sister, Sharon passed into eternal life on 5/27/15 and I have not felt like blogging much.  I received this wonderful photo of three of her adorable great-grand babies in their front yard releasing letters and balloons to heaven to their Gram.  Kudos to momma as what a wonderful way to let them know that she is no longer here but that they can still communicate with her.  Sweet babies.

Mein Blog wurde Art von Ruhe war die letzten Monate und das ist, weil meine liebe Schwester, ging Sharon in das ewige Leben auf 5/27/15 und ich habe nicht wie Blogging viel zu spüren. Ich habe dieses wunderbare Foto von drei ihrer entzückenden Urenkel Babys in ihrem Vorgarten Freigabe Buchstaben und Luftballons in den Himmel, um ihre Gram. Hut ab vor so was für ein wunderbarer Weg, um sie wissen, dass sie nicht mehr hier lassen Momma aber, dass sie immer noch mit ihr zu kommunizieren. Süße Babys.

VACATION TIME

Drew, Dawn and the kiddos will be heading home later today from a big two week trip.  This photo of Mitch, Heath and Belle taken on the 4th of July at Turks & Caicos - at a beautiful Caribbean resort with lots of Aganon family.  They spent one week here and then off to WDW in Orlando. 

Drew, Dawn und die kiddos wird im Laufe des Tages nach Hause in Richtung von einem großen zweiwöchigen Reise. Dieses Foto von Mitch, Heath und Belle genommen am 4. Last Sunday Isabelle Grace (Belle) and Mitchell Scott received their first holy communion at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Boise, Idaho.

We had a lovely dinner at Drew and Dawn's after mass, including those of us who live in Eagle and Bob, Cathy, Honor and David who came from California.

Wir hatten ein schönes Abendessen im Drew und Dawns nach der Messe, darunter diejenigen von uns, in Eagle und Bob, Cathy, Ehre und David leben, die aus Kalifornien kam.

Ryan at almost 6'2" is a very tall 15 year old. The Swall girls in Tulare are very active in FAA and recently did very well at the State Conference.  Even though Ryan does not live on a farm he takes some Ag classes and enjoys the leadership and other training and the comradery of FAA.

Ryan fast 6'2 "ist eine sehr große 15-jährige. Die Schwall Mädchen in Tulare sind in FAA sehr aktiv und vor kurzem hat sehr gut in der Staatsberatung. Auch wenn Ryan nicht auf einem Bauernhof leben, nimmt er einige Ag Klassen und genießt die Führung und weitere Ausbildung und die Kameradschaft der FAA.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO THE LOVE OF MY LIFE! GLÜCKLICHER JAHRESTAG ZUR LIEBE MEINES LEBENS!

Today we celebrate our 51st wedding anniversary.  Even though we no longer look like these two young people the love that we felt for each other that day has just grown.  We are very lucky people for so many reasons the biggest one is to have our wonderful family, our sons and their fabulous wives and our precious grandchildren and our dear extended family and dear friends. Than you everyone for making this such a wonderful journey.

 Heute feiern wir unseren 51. Hochzeitstag. Auch wenn wir die Liebe, die wir füreinander diesem Tag hat gerade gewachsen fühlte sich nicht mehr aus wie diese beiden jungen Menschen. Wir sind sehr glücklich, die Menschen aus so vielen Gründen das größte ist, unsere wundervolle Familie, unsere Söhne und ihre fabelhafte Frauen und unsere kostbare Enkel und unsere lieben erweiterte Familie und liebe Freunde haben. Als Sie alle für die Herstellung dieser so eine wunderbare Reise.

CHRISTMAS IN ROCK PORT, MISSOURI! WEIHNACHTEN IN Rock Port, Missouri!

Christmas this year was with Rich,  Lindy and the boys in their quaint little town in northwestern Missouri. We had a wonderful time that flew by so fast. Dinner set here for our fabulous Christmas dinner of prime-rib, with red wine reduction and all the trimmings.

Weihnachten in diesem Jahr war mit Reich, Lindy und die Jungen in ihrem malerische kleine Stadt im Nordwesten von Missouri. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit, die so schnell flog. Dinner für unsere fabelhafte Weihnachtsessen der Prime-Rippe, mit Rotweinreduktion und allem Drum und Dran eingestellt.
