Vaya Con Dios to the Pearse family!

Sadly today was the day to say vaya con dios to the Pearse family, our dear Aussie friends -
Elizabeth, Tony, Garion, Bryce, Hamish, Lochlan and dear, sweet baby sister, Briony-Anne. When we first met six months seemed like a long time but it has passed in the blink of an eye. We will be forever grateful for having these wonderful people enter our lives. They boarded a plane for Los Angeles with 14 checked bags, and 14 carry on bags, it was a lot of luggage. They traveled light on their way here and are going home with the maximum allowed luggage. They have seen more of the United States than most Americans. They have met wonderful people who have been very kind to them and there is a reason for that - they are such a loving, generous, family who bring out the best in everyone they meet. I will miss seeing them and fixing dinner for them. God willing we will meet again.

Good News, Bad News, Rock Port style!

Good news is that Ryan Scott has his first football game tomorrow. Go Hounds! The bad news is a little more obvious - big storm in Rock Port last night and Mr. Tree did some major damage. Poor Rock Port Dewhirst's just cannot seem to catch a break lately!
